The Roscomare School Booster Club is a non-profit parent organization made up of parents interested in providing the best experience and education for our children. We work with the teachers, staff, parents and general public to provide the best opportunities for our school. The Booster Club committees work to help the teachers and principal with staffing, maintain the facilities, and fundraise to provide the "extras" like art, music, library books and classroom aides.
We welcome all of your ideas, time and efforts. Everyone's involvement makes Roscomare a fantastic school for our children and we look forward to seeing more volunteers over the coming year.

ANNUAL GIVING DRIVE
| Every school year, Roscomare Road needs to raise money for programs not paid for by LAUSD. Programs not funded by LAUSD includes, Computer instruction, Art instruction and Music instruction. In addition, 12 Instructional Aides are funded to assist the teachers with classroom instructions. The funds are also used for computer support and supplemental supplies that benefit our children and enrich their educational experience at Roscomare Road Elementary School.
Our goal is 100% participation from all Roscomare Road Families!

ANNUAL GIVING PHONE DRIVE
| Every year, parent volunteers meet to call Roscomare Road parents and urge them to pay their annual fund donation.
|
SPRING GALA
| Each
year, the Eventing Event Committee organizes a magical event for
parents and friends of Roscomare Road. The evening event sets the stage
for the silent and live auction.
The silent and live auction is Roscomare Roads second largest fundraiser and is held in conjunction with the evening event. The Auction Committee gathers, organizes, catalogs, displays, and sells the received donation items.

BOOK FAIR
| Every year, Roscomare Road brings the Scholastic Book Fair to our students. The fall Book Fair is held the week of Back to School Night, and the second Book Fair is a 1 day Book Fair held during Open House.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
| By signing up to support Roscomare Road School, you will be able to track our school's Box Tops earnings, earn cash for our school when you shop online at the Box Tops Marketplace, print money-saving coupons on your favorite brands, enter to win bonus Box Tops and sign up for email updates offering more ways to earn cash for our school.

| The Campus Beautification Committee keeps the school looking green and beautiful.

CAREER DAY
| Each year, Roscomare Road hosts a career day to inspire the students. The Career Day Committee recruits and schedules speaker volunteers.

COPY CENTER
| Get the instructional aides out of the copy room and into the classroom! Thanks to the Copy Center Volunteers' countless hours of copying much needed classroom material, Roscomare Road's instructional aides spent less time copying and more time teaching the students.

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING
| For your convenience, Roscomare School Booster Club accepts VISA and Master Card.
|
EARNING 4 LEARNING
| Shop
at Westfield Shopping Town Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks and register
your receipts for Roscomare Road, dated between November 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010, with the concierge and help us earn a share of a
$2,500 prize pool.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE
| The Emergency Response Committee works closely with school administrators to devise and implement plans for any emergency.
|
GIFT WRAP
| Innisbrook is this year's Gift Wrap Vendor. The Gift Wrap Drive is fun and rewarding for the kids and lets you shop at home.

MAJOR GIFTS & GRANTS
| There are a lot of foundations looking for great places to spend their money. The Grants Committee focuses on how to get some of that money for Roscomare Road.

| HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE

| Start your holiday shopping at Roscomare and purchase gifts for friends and family at this one day event.

HOSPITALITY
| The Hospitality Committee provides refreshments for the Booster Meetings as well as events held at school.

KINDERGARTEN LIAISON
| The Kindergarten Liaisons are a link between Booster Club and the Kindergarten families. Also, the Kindergarten Liaisons keeps the Kindergarten families informed and updated with current Roscomare Road events.

KISS & RIDE
| The safety of the students is our first priority. The Kiss & Ride Committee helps room parents organize their classroom volunteers who help with traffic control to help minimize traffic delays on Roscomare Road.
|
LOST & FOUND
| The Lost and Found Rack located near the auditorium entrance is stacked with pieces of clothing waiting for its rightful owner. Please check out the Rack periodically for any missing items. Items left for more than 3 month will be donated to a shelter.

NEWSLETTER
| The newsletter is a great way to keep our parents informed about the latest news and events at Roscomare Road.
|
NEW STUDENT MEETING
| The New Student Meeting introduces incoming students and their family to our teachers, staff, and Roscomare Road parents.
|
PARENT TOUR & ORIENTATION
| Every year, Roscomare Road invites parents interested in sending their children to Roscomare Road to come to the school orientation and take a tour of the school. Private tours of the school can be arranged.

RECYCLING
| " The Green Road to Excellence " is Roscomare Road's recycling motto.
|
RESTAURANT NIGHT
| Hang your apron on the hook and enjoy dinner among fellow Roscomare Road parents. Participating Restaurant will donate a portion of their dinner sales to Roscomare School Booster Club.

| Come and check out the newest Spirit Wear! Dress hip and show your true colors.
