"Earning 4 Learning" is a fundraiser that runs from November through May. Your family and friends shop at Westfield Shoppingtown Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks and register their receipts dated from November 1 to May 31 with the concierge, beginning on January 1, 2011.
Roscomare Road Elementary School competes to earn up to $2,500. We receive 10 points for each dollar shown on receipts from purchases made at any of the non-department stores at Fashion Square and 5 points for Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s purchases. Please keep in mind that Westfield American Express gift cards make great gifts (they can be used virtually everywhere in the U.S. American Express Cards are accepted) for the holidays or birthdays and also earn bonus points for the school. Just remember to log the receipt when purchasing the gift card. You can log receipts yourself, or leave them in the Earning 4 Learning box in the school office (be sure to use the envelope provided to you last fall and/or indicate your child’s name and room number if you want the receipts returned to you), and they will be logged for you.
Roscomare Road came in 6th place last year out of 25 schools and received a gift card in the amount of $500 and a $150 bonus for the most receipts turned in for one month.
